Sales Assistant
Location: Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha - Qatar, Bahrain). Our client is a large retail consortium in the UAE operating 4 leading fashion outlets – Zara, Stradivarius, Promod and Women’s Secret. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit highly motivated staff across various positions.
Job description:
Provide a complete shopping environment for our customers involving excellent product knowledge and customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High school certificate
- 1-2 years customer service or sales experience, preferably in a retail company
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Customer Focused;
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment where team spirit plays an important role;
- Ability to listen and understand customer’s requests is a core requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store;
- Direct customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests;
- Find out the specific needs of each customer that enters the store;
- Give accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries; If the correct information is not at hand, do everything possible to provide an answer before the customer leaves the store;
- Increase the customer base by adding new customers to the mailing list;
- Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude and cooperate with teamwork;
- Check stock daily to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and available for customers;
- All folded merchandise must be neat and well folded; Sizes should be arranged in order from smallest to largest;
- Maintain store image by adhering to the dress guidelines as outlined in the Employee's Handbook;
- Help store merchandiser and/or store manager by suggesting alternative locations for products;
- Practice security measures that help prevent theft; Understand the procedures for handling shoplifters.
SALARY PACKAGE & BONUSES:
- Salary: 575 - 600 USD/month (tax free);
- Sales commission: 80 – 150 USD/month (tax-free);
- Shared accommodation provided free;

- Working hours: 48 hours/ week (6 days out of 7);
